What are we doing to restore the Gulf Coast Wetlands?

Gulf Savers, and its partners, are raising funds through your donations to provide Gulf Saver Bags and required funding for community based volunteers to take immediate action in protecting and preventing additional damage to threatened Gulf Coast ecosystems and begin remediation and restoration of ecosystems already destroyed.

The Gulf Saver Bags are filled with humus made from natural oil-eating micro organisms and nutrients to ensure maximum plant growth and survivability.

Gulf Savers, is a CALL TO ACTION to protect and restore the Gulf Coast shoreline wetlands, marshes, coastal beaches and barrier islands currently being destroyed and threatened by the oil spill from the Deep Water Horizon catastrophe, the Worst Environmental Disaster in North American history.

In full cooperation with Nature, Gulf Savers brings one simple all natural solution to assist the Gulf Coast's natural systems to accelerate the recovery process in the Gulf of Mexico ecosystems as this disaster continues.

We accomplish our environmental restoration efforts to restore the earth, by engaging and collaborating with strategic partners, governments, communities, land trusts and environmental groups in the development and implementation of our programs and restoration initiatives.

To begin delivering Gulf Saver Bags to critical sites, we are working with The Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana and its group of 25,000 registered volunteers, to transport the Gulf Saver Bags by work boats, barges, airboats and shallow draft boats. The volunteers will be involved in every step of the delivery of Gulf Saver protection and restoration.

Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana is a not-for-profit with over 20 years experience in preservation and restoration of a sustainable Gulf Coast. The Coalition to Restore Coastal Louisiana has galvanized other environmental organizations under the Gulf Response Involvement Team.
